# OVERVOLT — End User License Agreement (EULA)

**Last updated:** June 25, 2026
**Publisher:** Boit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Licensor", "we", "us")
**Contact:** admin@produsa.dev

> *Template provided for convenience — not legal advice. Confirm the publisher legal name and the governing-law jurisdiction (Section 11) and have this reviewed by a qualified professional before publishing. If you release OVERVOLT under an open-source license, that license governs the source code; this EULA governs the distributed binary.*

**PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. BY INSTALLING OR USING OVERVOLT, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.**

## 1. License grant

OVERVOLT is provided free of charge. Subject to this Agreement, Licensor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use OVERVOLT on computers you own or control, for personal or internal business use.

## 2. Ownership

OVERVOLT is licensed, not sold. Licensor retains all rights, title, and interest in OVERVOLT not expressly granted to you.

## 3. What OVERVOLT does to your system (important — your informed consent)

OVERVOLT is a performance utility. With your action, it can:

- Change Windows power plans, Game Mode, and the system timer / mouse settings (all reversible).
- Raise the priority of a game process.
- **Close (terminate) background applications and stop selected Windows services** during "boost" modes. **Closing an application can cause loss of any unsaved work in that application.** OVERVOLT asks for confirmation, lets you choose exactly what is closed or kept, and can reopen/restart what it closed — but it cannot recover unsaved data.
- Change display resolution and refresh rate.
- **Optionally**, if you choose to install the AMD undervolt engine, load a third-party kernel driver (WinRing0, via RyzenAdj) to adjust CPU power limits. **CPU/GPU power tuning and undervolting carry inherent risks, including system instability and, in extreme cases, hardware damage.** This feature is off by default and only operates if you explicitly install and enable it.

You acknowledge and accept these behaviors and their risks. You are responsible for saving your work before using boost features and for the settings you apply.

## 4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use OVERVOLT for any unlawful purpose; (b) use it to gain unauthorized access to any system; (c) remove or alter any proprietary notices; or (d) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the binary except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law or permitted by an applicable open-source license.

## 5. Third-party components

OVERVOLT can detect, launch, or help you obtain third-party software (for example RyzenAdj/WinRing0, Special K/SKIF, MSI Afterburner, Intel XTU, AMD Ryzen Master, ASUS Armoury Crate, FanControl, ThrottleStop, Universal x86 Tuning Utility). These are **separate products owned by their respective authors and governed by their own licenses and terms.** Licensor does not own them, does not bundle them except where explicitly stated, and makes no warranty regarding them. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their licenses.

## 6. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED **"AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND**, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL IMPROVE PERFORMANCE ON ANY PARTICULAR SYSTEM.

## 7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR HARDWARE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE OVERVOLT IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, LICENSOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $0. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

## 8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Licensor harmless from any claims arising out of your misuse of the Software or your violation of this Agreement.

## 9. Privacy

OVERVOLT collects no personal data and transmits nothing off your device. See the OVERVOLT Privacy Policy for details.

## 10. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall OVERVOLT. Sections 2 and 6–11 survive termination.

## 11. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of **[insert your jurisdiction]**, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

## 12. Entire agreement

This Agreement is the entire agreement between you and Licensor regarding OVERVOLT and supersedes any prior understandings.

**By installing or using OVERVOLT, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement.**
